You’ll practice stained glass in a variety of techniques: leaded glass, glass painting, copper foil, fusing – the possibilities are endless!

Suitable for beginners and those wishing to hone their skills.

Tools and primary materials are available on site. The price of primary materials is not included in the course fee and depends on your project.

Terms: 130€/ trimester* (three checks cashed at the beginning of each trimester)

Leaded Stained-Glass

Sed ut perspic

A two-day course that will introduce you to, or enable you to perfect, the traditional methods of creating leaded stained glass.

This course enables you to create a stained-glass panel measuring approximately 20×20 cm, and is suitable for beginners and those wishing to hone their skills.

Tools and primary materials are available on site. The cost of primary materials is not included in the course price, and depends on the size of your project.

Weekend workshops

Copper Foil

A two-day course that introduces you to, or enables you to perfect your skills in the copper foiling technique. This technique doesn’t use lead, but adhesive copper instead, enabling lighter shapes and the creation of three-dimensional pieces such as the famous Tiffany lamps.

You’ll also be able to create candleholders and other more delicate pieces. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wishing to hone their skills.

Fusing

A one-day course that introduces you to or improves your skills in hot glass processes (slumping, pate de verre, fusing).

This course enables you to create one or more fusing pieces (with or without molds: paintings, bowls, trays, etc.). Designs are not imposed.

Glass Painting

A three-day course that introduces or perfects the art of painting on glass.

This course enables you to create a stained-glass panel using grisaille techniques.

Grisailles are used to play with shadows on glass by transparency, drawing the outline of the shapes you want to make, as well as shading with more or less opaque washes.
